Tranquility, from the sketchbook series 2008-2010. This is the 101st in a series of 110 freehand ink drawings made in a single sketchbook by the artist. Tranquility is a black and white abstract ink drawing with shapes and elements from nature coming together in balance and harmony. Original 8" H x 5" W on acid free archival sketchbook paper.

Artist Statement Inspired by the world around me, I often bring shapes from nature into my work. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, art has always been an integral part of my life. I thrive on bringing creativity to every corner of my life, including my professional and volunteer endeavors.
