Effusion, from the sketchbook series 2008-2010. This is the 109th in a series of 110 freehand ink drawings made in a single sketchbook by the artist. Effusion is a black and white abstract ink drawing, primarily in pointillism. Lines swirls and pours forth up and around circles and escape with fluidity across the page. Artist Statement Inspired by the world around me, I often bring shapes from nature into my work. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, art has always been an integral part of my life.
